Wedding DJ + Lighting

A wedding is unlike any other party you’ll ever throw. Our focus is on your details and creating a stress-free event. We work one event a day. We love to celebrate and rock hard at our receptions. We customize music for you, solicit non-traditional ideas, and work to design the entertainment around your wedding vision. We love couples who want to build a live soundtrack for the entire wedding day and then drop a high energy sound on their dance floor. We love those who dance and sing their hearts out. Let us get you and your guests on their feet and enjoy the moment.

Creative, and High Energy!

CLASSY,

When we think about weddings, we think of three words:

We cover the basic needs so we can chat about the fine details and design from there. Our couples start their investment at $3000, often finding their overall average spending to be around $3300-$3800.

Sit down with us and share your wedding vision. Tell us how the biggest party you are ever going to throw will be executed so that we can share with you our ideas of how we’ll ensure that happens. From there, we will design the rest and give you what we think you should do to help us do our best work for you and your guests.

WE KEEP THINGS SIMPLE

To help you have the freedom create and dream, we keep things simple.

Music can articulate the feelings you have for each other when words can’t. We truly believe that you can soundtrack this experience in real time. If you have a theme to your wedding, allow it to begin here. Let us show you how.

This is your perfect opportunity for you to design that sound that will mark the beginning of one of the most important days of your life. Let us help you build that with our experience, high performance sound, and professional manner. Utilizing strong wireless technology and engineering methods, we ensure clear and quality sound from all those speaking so all those in attendance can appreciate.

The ceremony is all about you as a couple. This is where love is professed.

This becomes the moment where we transition from ceremony time to party mode. It is important that the DJ sets the tone. We will use great timeless sounds and vibes to create an environment that is both friendly to conversation amongst your guests as well as fun, happy, and exciting for the events to come. Often too, this is the time the guests need the most direction. Allow us to settle them into the party and prepare them for a night of happiness and bliss.

This is a time where often, the couple may be busy with pictures or conversations with family.

ENERGIZE THE ROOM

Dinner is often the most under appreciated event of the night. All the formalities generally build around this point. From Grand Entrance Introductions, to the First Dance, to even the Toasts, how the party transitions matters. You don’t want a DJ/MC that is timid and unsure of what to do next. This is the time to have your DJ who can move your guests from the floor to their seats and back, without hesitation.

We’ll begin to build on that energy in the room with carefully selected music, transitions, and charismatic hosting.

Continuing to set that tone will ensure a successful and energetic dance floor later on.

We love to move the floor with excellent music selection, energy drops, fun word and tone play, and remixed edits of classic and modern songs. You can count on us to have your guests raving about their experience. We love to pack as much of the hits as we can play. Whether it is the classics or the non-traditional wedding songs, we want it to be a party for you.

On top of the music, our light show is worth it all. With lighting that can be utilized in so many styles and manners, we can subtly embed our dance lighting so it blends in with your reception design and then knock you and your guests out with a high, artistically designed light show.

It has finally come down to the main event, opening the dance floor. We are here to enrich your experience with non-stop music, laughter, and dance.

let it release!

wedding VENUES where we have worked

wondering how it all works?

frequently asked questions

How long have you been performing?

Jeff has been DJing for over eight years now, performing for corporate functions, private parties, and what he loves most, weddings. His love for music goes back much further. He has been performing in general for over twenty five years, from small groups to large ensembles and even as a soloist. His love for music goes very deep and his respect for performance, even deeper.

What type of equipment do you use?

We use professional grade DJ equipment with a focus on keeping the looks classy and simple. We utilize custom booths and furniture to keeps us inline with your wedding looks and vision as well as keep us close to your guests on the dance floor.

Do you have any backup plans if something goes wrong or happens to the DJ?

We have a great network of DJs from the local area who actively perform at weddings. They, like us, are there to support and help create a strong backup system for our clients.

CAN WE REQUEST SONGS FOR YOU TO PLAY?

You are able to pick which songs you definitely want to hear and ones you do not want to hear for you event. We have a mobile planning app for this which connects additional tools like Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube to enhance your search for great sounds!

CAN WE PROVIDE OUR OWN MUSIC FOR YOU TO PLAY?

Sure, but we would like to get the music file(s) in advance of the event. If you are doing this, please consider the audience attending your event. It is important to note that our music is carefully picked from DJ music pools that are designed for appeal and fun. Let us know if you want to listen to hear some samples.

WILL YOU PLAY GUEST'S REQUESTS?

We only take requests if you allow it. If allowed, we "filter" requests, meaning we will not play a song that you specifically asked us not to play or music from a genre you asked us not to play. If someone makes a request that fits in well with what we are playing at the time and with the music you want, then we will try and play it.

Do I tip the DJ?

We do not include gratuity in the final contract price nor do we ask for it. 10-20% is generally acceptable if we provided you a service above and beyond. But again, it is not expected in anyway. Our goal is to focus on your experience, not your wallet.

Will you play overtime if needed?

Yes. We are able to play past the contracted time, but payment is due at that time if at all possible. We are equipped to take last minute payments.

What are your payment terms?

The retainer fee is required at the time of booking and the remaining balance is due two weeks prior to the event date. Payments can be made through our online planning system (your client portal) using a debit or credit card as well as bank transaction. Cash, checks, and Venmo transfers are accepted as well.

When should we book you?

The best answer is as soon as you are ready. Dates are not held till they are officially booked. A good time frame is at least six to twelve months out for a wedding. Less for other events. However, depending on the date of the event, we are able to handle last minute bookings

Should we feed you and your assistant?

This is not required in our contract and is completely up to you. Typically, the catering director or event coordinator will set aside a meal or boxed dinner for the DJ if requested by the client.

What other services do we offer?

We focus mainly on the sound and experience but we have a niche for lighting. We also provide a beautiful Photo Booth! For those that want to create that extra night life feel, we have a CO2 cannon, foam glow sticks, and more.

How many songs should I request?

We would like for you to give us no more than 20-30 songs of different genres and artists you would like to hear, as well as songs/artists you don't, so we have an idea of what music you'd like for the different parts of the event.

- Liz & John - Bride and Groom

We had full confidence in their teamwork to keep our wedding up to the standard we planned with them months in advance. They kept our guests dancing and entertained all night. Everything was flawless with Jeff and Amy.
